Ardha Matsyendrasana (Spinal Half Twist)
1. Sit with legs stretched out in front.
2. Bend the right leg so that upper end of the heel touches the upper end of the thigh.
3. Place the left foot on the floor just outside the right knee.
4. Place the left hand behind the back so that the back of the hand touches the right hip, and swivel to the left.
5. Return to the original position and perform the exercise with legs reversed.
Benefits: An exercise for natural twisting of the spine, named after Yogi Matsyendra, who originated it.
