Parvatasana or Parbatangasana
(Mountain Pose)
1. Sit on a thick rug or blanket folded twice and adopt the Lotus Pose (Padmasana)
2. Lean forward and raise the body slowly so that it rests on hands and knees.
3. Then straighten and raise both arms upwards while balancing on the knees.
4. Finally touch the tips of the fingers and thumb of one hand with those of the other.
Benefits: Prana becomes strong, chest broadens and the lungs are cleansed.
