Purna Kammar Asana
1. Lie on your stomach with arms parallel to the body, chin touching the floor.
2. Lift your arms and stretch them full length beyond your head.
3. Inhale deeply and, keeping your knees rigid, raise your body with great effort so that it forms an arch, the entire weight being borne by your palms and the tips of your toes. This is extremely difficult and needs great all-round strength, especially in the area of the waist and small of the back.
A single weak link means failure, but constant practice of the asanas will develop the body. When this has been mastered, raise your body with the weight resting only on the tips of the fingers and toes. Anyone who can do this is strong, irrespective of body weight or how mach he can lift. This is the full kammar asana.
